Grosseto, April 25, 2025—The inaugural Toscoleum International Olive Cultivation and Olive Oil Technology Exhibition (April 25–27) kicked off with grandeur at the Fiera del Madonnino in Grosseto, the heartland of Tuscan olive cultivation. As an innovator of near infrared technology in the global agricultural field, IAS made its debut at this industry-leading event with the revolutionary IAS-OLIVE Portable Olive Analyzer, offering producers across the olive oil supply chain a groundbreaking solution for quality testing and production optimization.

This year's Toscoleum brought together more than 30 leading brands, covering the entire industry chain from olive nurseries and planting machinery to oil extraction technology and packaging equipment. As the trendsetter for the olive oil industry in Italy and Europe, the exhibition attracted nearly 50,000 professional visitors, including farmers, olive growers, oil mill operators and representatives of trade associations, to discuss the cutting-edge technology to improve the quality and yield of olive oil.

The IAS-OLIVE Portable Olive Analyzer, designed for olive growers and oil producers, stole the spotlight with its breakthrough portability and precision. Key features include:
Instant Insights for Agile Decision-Making:
Conduct rapid field or mill-side analyses of olive moisture, oil content and acidity, with results available in less than 1 minute. Empower users to optimize harvest timing and processing strategies in real time.
Multi-parameter integration, accurate control:
Integrated spectral analysis and AI algorithms, synchronously provide olive quality and oil content prediction, providing data support for the optimisation of the oil extraction process.
User-friendly, portable and durable:
lightweight design and dust body, adapted to the complex environment of the olive groves; touch screen operation and cloud data synchronisation, simplifying the process and supporting long-term production traceability.
The Toscoleum is the ideal platform for showcasing innovations in the global olive industry, and with the IAS-OLIVE analyser, IAS hopes to help small and medium-sized farms and oil producers to standardise their quality at a lower cost, so that every drop of olive oil is scientifically verified, ‘from the branch to the bottle’.
With the convening of Toscoleum 2025, IAS is accelerating the expansion of the global market, and plans to establish a localised service network in the main olive oil producing areas in the future. The company said it will continue to invest in research and development to explore the combination of blockchain technology and testing data to build a transparent and credible quality traceability system for the olive oil industry chain.
